45 Years
On September 1, 1979, TAMTAM was officially founded. In 2024, the company will celebrate their 45th anniversary. In all those years, many performances were created and performed, in 34 countries around the world.

50 Years
The first play that Gérard Schiphorst and Marije van der Sande created and performed together was even 5 years earlier, in September 1974. So in fact their collaboration has existed for 50 years, but in the first years, in addition to their theatre-activities, they both still had a job on the side. Celebration
The 45th anniversary will of course be celebrated! On Friday, January 24, there will be a festive performance with a reception in the MIMIK theater in their home town Deventer. In addition, there are other activities planned. More about that later.
